Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payments

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any date for weddings, events, portraits, or business content services.

  • Remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the session or event date unless otherwise agreed.

  • Dates are not held without a deposit.

  • Payments may be made via card, bank transfer, cash, or approved payment links.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date if the client reschedules at least 7 days before the session.

  • Wedding and event bookings require 30 days notice for rescheduling.

  • If the client cancels completely, the deposit remains non-refundable.

  • If the photographer/videographer must cancel due to emergency, sickness, or circumstances beyond control, the client will receive a full refund including deposit, or can transfer to a new date.

3. Weather Policy

  • Outdoor sessions may be moved to an indoor location or rescheduled at no extra charge.

  • The final decision for rescheduling due to weather is based on safety, lighting conditions, and protecting equipment.

4. Turnaround Times

Delivery times vary by service:

  • Weddings: 4–8 weeks

  • Events: 1–3 weeks

  • Portraits: 1–2 weeks

  • Business content: 3–7 days (depending on volume)

Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

5. Editing & Retouching

  • All images and videos are edited in the photographer’s/videographer’s style.

  • Additional retouching requests (skin smoothing, object removal, heavy edits) may require an extra fee.

  • RAW files (photo or video) are not provided unless previously discussed and agreed upon.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights

  • Finite Media LLC retains the copyright to all images and videos created.

  • Clients receive personal usage rights: printing, sharing online, storing, and displaying the content.

  • Businesses purchasing branding content receive a commercial usage license for web, social media, and marketing use.

  • Images and videos may not be sold, heavily edited, or used for resale purposes without written permission.

7. Model Release (Marketing Use)

By booking with Finite Media LLC, the client grants permission for images and videos to be used for:

  • Website portfolio

  • Social media

  • Online advertisements

  • Printed marketing materials

If you prefer not to have your images used for marketing, please notify Finite Media in writing before the session.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Arrive on time to the session or event

  • Communicate location, timeline, or schedule changes

  • Ensure any permits or location fees are handled (if required)

  • Treat equipment with care and avoid unsafe conditions

For weddings/events, the client agrees to provide a safe working environment and any necessary access.

9. Creative Control

Clients trust the creative judgment of Finite Media regarding:

  • Angles and composition

  • Editing style

  • Posing and location suggestions

  • Lens and gear choices

Requests are welcome, but final artistic decisions remain with Finite Media.

10. Delivery Method

All final content is delivered through a private online gallery or folder, including:

  • Full-resolution downloads

  • Web-size files

  • Video downloads

  • Optional print store access

Weddings and events may also include additional delivery options upon request.

11. Backups & Storage

  • Final edited content is stored for 90 days after delivery.

  • Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up files.

  • Long-term storage or re-delivery may include a small fee.

12. Travel Fees

Travel within Massachusetts and Rhode Island is included unless stated otherwise.
Travel outside these areas may incur additional mileage or accommodation fees.

13. Safety & Equipment

Finite Media reserves the right to leave immediately without refund if unsafe conditions arise, including:

  • Violence or harassment

  • Dangerous weather

  • Unsafe environments

  • Equipment risk

This ensures safety and the integrity of the work.

14. Agreement

By booking a service with Finite Media, you agree to all terms listed above unless otherwise stated in writing.
